Visual Resource Curator & Archive Administrator

Job Duties:

Develop and maintain the registration, cataloging, and basic record-keeping systems using computer databases; Plan and organize collection, storage, and transcription of all related materials from organization; Manage office environment; Write, edit, and proofread institutional reports and publicity materials for the organization; Design, organize and conduct tours, workshops, and instructional and educational sessions to acquaint individuals with organizations facilities and materials; Attend meetings, conferences, and civic events company is engaged in and record information from events; Research and record the origins and historical significance of archival materials; Preserve records, documents, and objects, copying records to film videotape, audiotape, disk or computer formats as necessary; Communicate and provide relevant archived materials to book publisher; Conduct and evaluate client questionnaires.

Minimum Requirements:
Master’s Degree in History, Art History, or Philosophy with 6 mons. experience. Knowledge in MS Excel and Adobe Systems Adobe Photoshop.

Full-time; M-F; 40 hrs per week
